The professional standard Teacher in higher education was developed and research was carried out on the needs of the labor market and the teaching competencies of teachers in higher education

The Croatian working group prepared a proposal for the professional standard Teacher in higher education and sent it for evaluation to the competent Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy. The occupational standard was entered in the Register of the Croatian Qualification Framework on June 10, 2021.
On May 24, 2021, the Montenegrin working group started the implementation of an online questionnaire within the research on teacher competencies in higher education institutions in Montenegro. The results of the conducted research were used as the basis for the creation of the Initiative for the development of lifelong learning program qualifications.
The Macedonian working group conducted a questionnaire for teachers and associates employed at universities, and the purpose of the conducted research is to work on the creation and development of a system for the practical application of the developed qualification standard for teachers in higher education based on the collected information.
