A presentation was held by the Montenegrin project team about the conducted study trips
On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, Milica Kavedžić, representative of the Montenegrin project team, gave a presentation on the study trips conducted within the BAQUAL project. Representatives of the Montenegrin project team visited France from June 13 to 16, 2022, and Spain from July 25 to 27, 2022.
In France, meetings were held and experiences and knowledge exchanged with three institutions: Universite Cote d'Azur, High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education – HCERES and Université PSL. During the visit to the Universite Cote d'Azur, the representatives were introduced to their online platform, which is used for the purpose of training the teaching staff, the establishment of the Balkan Institute for Education and Innovation, and the process of creating a report for the development of a lifelong learning program. During the visit to HCERES, experiences related to the work of the agency itself and the process of quality assurance in higher education were exchanged, as well as the experience of renewing membership in ENQA, which HCERES went through in 2022, which was significant for the representatives of the Montenegrin team because before AKOKVO- m finds the challenge of becoming a member of ENQA. At PSL University, they had the opportunity to see what the program for improving the teaching competencies of the academic staff looks like, how the training process itself is organized, and the like.
In Spain, meetings were held and experiences and knowledge exchanged with three institutions: AQUIB, IRIE and University of the Balearic Islands. During the visit to AQUIB, the representative of AKOKVO had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Spanish network for quality assurance in the field of higher education (REACU), which consists of a national agency and 10 autonomous agencies, as well as to get an insight into the process of accreditation of academic staff on the basis of which it is awarded and an award for exceptional work in accordance with established AQUIB principles. Information was also obtained about the Spanish National Qualifications Framework (MECES), which is continuously being improved and developed. The visit to the IRIE institute brought them new knowledge related to the creation, organization and implementation of teacher training programs in higher education.
During the aforementioned trips, knowledge and experience related to the use of national qualification frameworks in the system of quality assurance in higher education, the creation and implementation of teacher training programs in higher education and the processes implemented by various institutions for the purpose of quality assurance in higher education were collected.
